Sassafras perch

Nice perch overlooking the front of Trail Hollow Farms. In the distance you can see Lavender Hill. This sassafras tree was struck by lightening years ago. We recently milled along with a large oak tree that had fallen close by. To preserve the stump, we sanded and treated with outdoor defense oil produced near us in Hohenwald by The Real Milk Paint Co. Look forward to peaceful meditation once our spring planting, harvesting and product production is done!
