We planted grass between the rows on Lavender Hill in the fall. Two weeks ago the grass had it's first cut with a riding lawn mower with no bagger, and the result was lots of grass on the lavender and weed cloth. Not ideal and still trying to clean up the cuttings around the base of the lavender plants and on the weed cloth.
Today, I mowed with my new Ego Power+56 volt 21" battery powered lawn mower. I love it! It was so easy and was able to mow right next to the weed cloth with the side discharge positioned out and no clippings got on the lavender plants or the weed cloth. Super easy, eco-friendly and was able to mow between the rows and in front of my storage shed on one charge. Highly recommend and got a few steps in on a beautiful spring day!
