Phenomenal First Buds

Our Phenomenal lavender seemingly produced thousands of buds overnight. Oh, how we love this time of year. The plants are now covered in soft green buds stretching across the field, quietly preparing for the explosion of color and fragrance still to come. A few butterflies have already begun drifting through the rows, giving us a small glimpse of summer on the farm. While our honey bees eagerly wait nearby for the lavender to burst into bloom.

In just a few more weeks, the fields will transform into waves of purple bloom and fragrance. By the third week of June, we’ll begin harvesting fresh and dried long-stemmed bundles for sale and distilling the season’s lavender for our handcrafted products.
