After selling three businesses, graduating two kids from college, and spending four years looking for what's next, we bought a small farm in Williamsport, Tennessee.
The first day we walked the property, we knew this farm was for us. Just an hour south of our Nashville home with rolling hills, winding trails and yearning hollows. Near Natchez Trace, Duck River and Love Hollow. The perfect backdrop to grow lavender, produce honey, plant pecan trees, and add many more sustainable and environmentally friendly products. An ambitious goal for a farm that only grew hay and needed several land and building improvements. Not to mention, we had no farm experience or farm equipment.
Regardless of the apparent hurdles [and speculation there was more to come], we made the leap, and started our next journey. Determined to leave a legacy of sustainability and conservation. Let the eco-conscious farming begin!
